The Hoffman Estates Park District maintains the Poplar Creek Country Club, which features a 6,108 yard—par 70, 18-hole golf course. The club also features a lighted driving range for the summer and indoor driving range in the winter. A clubhouse and banquet facilities are also available.

The Highland Woods Golf Course is nestled among the many acres of forest preserve in the Village. This 6,995 yard-par 72, 18-hole course features tree lined fairways and prairie beauty.

Over 16,000 people are employed by the more than 700 businesses operating in Hoffman Estates. The employees are drawn from the pool of 2.8 million workers who reside within a 60-minute commute of the Village. The Village unemployment rate--2.9%-- is below state and national averages.
